If Each Policy Makes So Little, Why Do We Bother?

So why do we sell products that have a low premium and have to sell such large volumes to make a profit? Because we don't just sell these add on products. We have been an Insurance Brokers since 1993, so we have a large client base of customers who have Home, Motor, Travel, Liability, Business Insurance with us.

So selling small premium policies like Home Emergency Cover to new clients, gives us more people to talk to about our other services. Don't get us wrong, we don't do this in a pushy way. You won't get bombarded (at all) with emails and phone calls, but the law of averages says that some of these new clients will buy other products from us over the years.

In addition, we are also Fee Free Independent Mortgage Brokers, so selling Home Emergency and Landlord Home Emergency cover means that we are naturally talking to customers who own property and buy property. These are the people that we want to talk to, because we can help them with their mortgages and generally they are more than happy to talk to us because unlike the majority of Mortgage Advisers, we don't charge broker fees.

So as you can see, whilst we are busy fools, there is some method in our madness. All of what we do is cheap advertising for other products that may be of interest to you.

We keep our prices low, which allows us to sell more products and services, which means we keep our prices low.

So, when you look at our products and think they are too cheap, relative to other products in the marketplace, hopefully you will understand and have confidence that you are getting a quality product at a competitive price because of our low cost marketing plan.
